1. Agreement

By downloading or using ScreenTwin ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, in line with the Apple Media Services Terms. You may use it for commercial work — measuring screens as part of your job is exactly what it is for.

You may not decompile or reverse-engineer the app, resell or redistribute it, or remove any proprietary notices, except where such a restriction is prohibited by law.

3. Your content

Screenshots you open, and the measurements, notes and exports you create, remain your content. We claim no ownership over them and, because they are stored on your device, we do not have access to them.

You are responsible for having the right to use the images you bring into the app. Do not use ScreenTwin to process material you are not permitted to copy or analyse.

4. Accuracy of measurements

ScreenTwin infers values from image pixels. Detection, capture scale, colour sampling and text recognition are estimates, and their accuracy depends on the image you provide — a resized, cropped or compressed screenshot will measure differently from an untouched one.

The app is a productivity aid, not a certified measuring instrument. Verify any value you rely on for production work, billing, manufacturing, accessibility compliance, or anything else where being wrong carries a cost.

5. Pro subscription and purchases

• ScreenTwin Pro is sold as an In-App Purchase through Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation.
• Where the purchase is a subscription, it renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings.
• Free-tier limits, including any daily analysis allowance, may change as the app develops.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policy; we cannot issue them directly.

6. Availability and changes

We may add, change or remove features, and may stop supporting older OS versions. We aim to avoid breaking your saved projects, but we cannot guarantee that every future version will read every past project file.

7. Back up your work

Projects live on your device. Deleting the app, losing the device, or a device failure will remove them. Keeping your own backups — via device backup or by exporting what matters — is your responsibility.

8. Third-party services

The app uses Google Firebase Analytics and RevenueCat, as described in the privacy policy. Their own terms apply to those services.

9. Disclaimer and liability

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may suspend the licence if these terms are breached.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the date at the top will change. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.
