Privacy Policy

Last updated 15 August 2026 · ScreenTwin for iOS (com.devsapp.ScreenTwin)

The short version. Your screenshots never leave your device. They are opened, measured and stored locally. We collect anonymous usage events about which features are used — never the content of what you measure.

Your screenshots

Screenshots and photos you open in ScreenTwin are copied into the app's own storage on your device and stay there. They are not uploaded to us or to anyone else — the app contains no image upload capability at all.

Everything the app derives from an image is computed on your device:

Deleting a project deletes its stored image. Deleting the app removes all of it.

Permissions we ask for

Each is requested at the moment you use the feature, and declining it only disables that feature.

Analytics

We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand which features get used, so we know what to improve. These are event names such as screenshot_imported, analysis_completed or measurement_created, together with small non-identifying parameters such as a count or a feature name.

We do not send the screenshot, the measurements, the colours, the recognised text, your project names, or your notes. Firebase also processes a device identifier and general device and region information as described in Google's own privacy documentation.

Purchases

ScreenTwin Pro is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase. Purchases and subscription status are managed by RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous app-user identifier and your receipt so it can tell the app whether Pro is active. Apple handles the payment itself; we never see your card details.

What we never collect

Sharing and exports

When you use Share or Export, the file goes wherever you send it, using the standard iOS share sheet. That destination's own privacy policy then applies. Nothing is shared automatically.

Children

ScreenTwin is a developer and design tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Because your content stays on your device, you control it directly: delete a project, or delete the app, and it is gone. To opt out of analytics, you can disable app tracking and personalised ads in iOS Settings. For any request about data we hold, contact us below.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top and note the change in the app's release notes.
